Meredydd L Jones - Director

Meredydd has over 25 years banking and financial services experience, is a former Regional Manager of the
London Stock Exchange and specialises in grooming companies for external investment or flotation. He provides
strategic support for fast growing companies including external advisor selection, business diagnostics,
board structure and business development. Examples of recent projects include, strategic support to a
£30M medical products company considering various exits resulting in a number of competing offers; grooming
a board for an imminent AIM flotation and assisting with advisor selection whilst continuing to raise pre float
funding.

Richard Morgan - Director

Richard is a technology marketing specialist, with more than 15 years experience consulting for blue chip organisations in high
technology, data comms, high security, video conferencing, broadcast and electronics sectors. He has run fast growing software
development and electronics manufacturing companies, winning marketing awards and reusing IPR in civil and military
applications. Clients worked with include JVC Professional, Hoffman La Roche, Accord, 3Com, University of Glamorgan
and Sheffield University in addition to many SME's. He has extensive experience working with technology projects in
international markets including France, USA, South Africa and particularly in Scandinavia.

Chris Sims - Director

Chris is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with Touche Ross and has subsequently worked for several public and private companies, notably in the construction, distribution and travel sectors.
He has extensive director level experience in finance management and business development. He is a competent strategist capable of identifying and maximising opportunities for profitable growth and expansion whilst ensuring adherence to legislation and corporate governance.
Before joining Chris was the Finance Director of Silverdell plc an AIM quoted building services group. Previously he was Finance Director and Company Secretary of Brandon Hire plc, one of the UK’s largest tool hire companies. He is Non-Executive Director of Bakers Coaches Ltd and Chair of Bristol Brunel Academy Trust.

R Ian Smith - Senior Associate

Ian qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, before gaining over 20 years of experience in
financial, commercial and strategic roles in a number of businesses. He has served 12 years as a main board director
which included leading a turn around of a quoted business which was sold to a VC backed MBO, and led the flotation
on to AIM of a Japanese-owned, high-tech semiconductor capital equipment business valued at £42m. Whilst CEO of this
latter company he oversaw the growth in sales from £14m to £56m.
He has also served as CFO of a UK/US based, 3i backed, software business to grow and successfully complete a
disposal to a US multi-national.
Ian is currently acting as a consultant to a number of early-stage, fast-growth businesses all with investment
related corporate transactions anticipated.
